Demo and Workshop: Building a bamboo display base

Workshop Title: Building a bamboo base for ikebana display

Workshop: John Spence. Columbia 182, Sogetsu School - Sanyo. 2nd Grade Instructor

Workshop cost: $20 pp. Members will build their own bamboo base for an ikebana display and learn techniques ro build other items from bamboo. All materials provided and you can keep the base you build. This technique was a workshop at the Ikebana International 13th World Conference in Kyoto this past May (2025). 

Note: The material requires significant advance preparation. Participants must RSVP tp John Spence or pay the fee by the  November meeting.
